Khokha addiction

The university Khokha is located under the shelter of a Neem tree, and is near to many departments, including Pharmacy, Chemistry, Statistics, UBIT and also our very own Mass Communication. It’s a hot spot for smokers. It is also near the Pharmacy canteen, which means it is never deserted. Those who are addicted to betel nuts, toffees, and other things, so called chooran chutnyan, can’t stop themselves go over there and buy different things.

When I was new to university life, I considered Khokha to be the only place for smokers! I was scared to go over there. But with time I experienced, it is not such bad place as I thought even though it sells things potentially harmful to health. But everyone is responsible for him/herself.

Owner of the Khokha is very ‘khurrant’.  He always has head phones in his ears with the FM radio from his mobile phone in his ears all day. I go over there to buy Tara, GoGo, Tulsi, 7UP, Meto, HUM TUM, DIL LAGI, SHAHI MEWA, GOLDEN, TASTY, AAS PAS, JUGNO, and most importantly, my fix of chooran chutny of the day!
